For marriage, time and attention is necessary
It's 2.00 am right now and am writing this post. I don't know, when and who will ever read this.
Any relationship that really matters to you, like one that could culminate into marriage, needs your time and attention. You have to take utmost care of it, nourish it. The relationship is just like a small plant. It needs protection and love.
I don't really read wisdom of great saints or experienced ones, when it comes to love. For me, such a relationship needs to have friendship. What is friendship? What is a friend?
Friend is one who assures you, hey don't worry, everything will be alright; don't be afraid am with you.
One who says, I am here for you and only you, tell me everything, share with me whatever you want to, become empty. A friend is one who gives you priority over everything else, especially when you are down, because you really matter.
Only when you give them your time and attention, will they be comfortable sharing their heart with you. Because you cannot make the heart open, it opens up on its own, it needs time.
So, friends, if you enter into a relationship that really matters to you, give that small plant all your love, time and attention. Nourish it, make it strong first. Let the plant grow and learn how to take care of itself.
