How to remove those who are following you on twitter without blocking them?

To remove/delete your twitter followers, you can simply block them.

However, if you don't wish to block them and still remove them from your followers list, here is a workaround:
1) Go to your followers list
2) Manually block those followers, one by one.
3) After blocking, Unblock them one by one.
4) Refresh your followers page. You will notice that those followers have been removed from your 'followers' list

To block a Twitter user:

1. Log in to your Twitter account.
2. Go to the profile page of the person you wish to block.
3. Click the person icon on their profile page. This brings up a drop-down actions menu.
4. Select Block from the options listed.

To unblock a Twitter user:

1. Visit the blocked account's profile on Twitter.
2. Click Unblock from the blocked user's dropdown menu.
