Gemini Spark can now sort, edit and share Google Photos for you

Google is extending Gemini Spark, its personal agent, to control Google Photos. The idea is that you describe a multi-step job in one sentence and the agent carries it out across your library instead of you tapping through it.

Per Google's list of supported actions, Spark can search your library by subject, place, date or event, pick out the better shots, filter duplicates, apply quick quality fixes, and build collages. It can create private or shared albums, save curated photos into them, and share album links through connected apps like Gmail and Messages. It can also pull text out of an image and reuse it elsewhere, and run recurring jobs such as building a monthly highlights album or filing photos of receipts.

Google says edits are saved as a new copy rather than overwriting the original, new albums are private by default, and the agent asks before sharing an album or sending an email.

9to5Google reports this is rolling out over the coming weeks to Google AI Pro and Ultra subscribers in the United States. No source has said when or whether it will reach India.
