invalid xml. please generate xml again

Problem: While filing the return for AY 2020-21, you get this error: 'invalid xml. please generate xml again'

Solution:

1. Download and install Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 from Microsoft Website

2. Restart your sytem.

3. Generate the ITR XML once again.

4. Upload it. This time around it will be uploaded successfully.
