Swades
The movie directed by Ashutosh Gowarikar - Swades, is one of my favourite movies. I have seen this movie so many times. Its a movie of realisation. Realisation to contribute, to spread love, joy and happiness among the poor people, the rural people. I feel every person, an Indian or anyone from anywhere, can relate to this movie. Coz there is a realisation phase, which comes in everyone's life. Sooner or later. That he is here to contribute :)
Apart from the concept, the casting crew has acted really well. Shahrukh is superb, Gayatri Joshi has become my fav. after the movie!, the kid - chiku, Mela ram, Postman, Amma... and the songs are so beautiful.
Few selected scenes which are my fav are:
1) One where the heroine rejects the marriage offer of a boy.
2) The scene right before the song Sawariya sawariya (I am a die hard romantic person :D)
3) Shahrukh is in the train and he drinks water from a glass, and gives money to the boy.. (where he realises he is one of them)
