Enter Art of Living

Jan 2006 - Art of Living was celebrating its 25th year (Silver Jubilee). My best friend Nishit called me in the evening. He said there is this course Art of Living Part 1, lets do it. At that time neither of us had heard anything about it. I had never come across Sri Sri either. But then, since it was a free course (25th year special), I said okay! While my Nishit chose the morning batch, due to my office timings, I went in the evening batch. Looking back, I did not join AOL because i was stressed or I wanted to know more about spirituality.. etc.. Frankly I went just like that.. had no pre-conceived notions or expectations. Our course was on the terrace of a building. The first thing I saw was Guruji's photo kept on a chair with flower garland.

As far as I remember now. I slept in 1st Sudarshan Kriya :D :D

I was awake in the 1st half but the time when we lie down, I slept :P

And when the teacher says.. Lie on your right side now and slowly get up. That's when I got up from my sleep (right on time.. i must say! :P)

I had seen Guruji in my 1st Kriya. I felt it was but obvious, since the photo was in front of me. I must have seen him! But interestingly, i saw him clean shaved.... small trimmed hairs.. After the Kriya, teacher asked us did they see anything in the kriya. I was a little hesitant to tell the teacher that i saw Guruji (coz I thought it might mean disrespect or something.. if i say he was clean shaved! :D). Still I told in front of everyone.. "Yes I saw Him (pointing towards Guruji's photo.. didn't know his name at that time)" Teacher asked" ok.. what else" I said gathering courage "Well he was clean shaved.." The teacher only smiled...

And I was like.. okay...

About 2 years later in 2008, I came across this photo of Guruji on the internet. and i couldn't believe my eyes.. that was the same picture i saw in my kriya! :)
