The seeds we sow within
Whatever seeds we sow, that kind of plant grows.
Look within yourself and see what kind of seeds you have sown.
You might be a good person, but there could still be seeds of negative emotions - related to people, or to past events - which may have already sprouted into a small plant or grown into a big tree.
The sooner we become aware of this, the easier it is to remove the plant. But the later we realize it, the more it grows into a strong tree - and then it becomes difficult to uproot it from the roots. Because now, it will take more time and more effort.
Start working on uprooting these growths - the weeds, the plants, and the trees - because the bigger and stronger they grow, the darker they become. And once they start bearing fruits, it is you alone who will have to consume them.
So how do we uproot them?
Forgiveness is one of the most powerful tools to remove these plants and trees from their roots.
But it’s not a one-time task. It is a constant and continuous process - of forgiving the people who caused the situations that made you experience those negative emotions.
At the same time, forgiving yourself is equally important.
And with steady practice - through forgiveness and prayer - this deep uprooting can happen.
